It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.

New Perspectives Counselling

Online Counselling

We live in a global village, but we still often struggle to find people to talk to.  In our increasingly busy world where texting and email are often preferable to telephoning, and staying in touch through Facebook and Twitter can be easier than finding the time to see our friends in person, online counselling can offer an effective alternative to face-to-face counselling.

Some benefits of online counselling are:

  • the flexibility and privacy of having your counselling session in your home
  • the anonymity of not being seen by your counsellor.  For some people this feels safer and enables them to be more open
  • access to counselling if you live in a rural or remote location, or if travelling is a challenge
  • you have a record of the session for ongoing reference and reflection
  • online counselling can supplement face-to-face sessions, if you travel frequently and/or for long periods of time

If you are curious about online counselling, or have any questions, please feel free to contact me so we can discuss your options.
